Discipline Your Disappointments & Never Give Up!
My favorite quote of all time came from Jim Rohn – the first sales trainer that spoke to my mind and heart and inspired me to be/do/have what I offer up today in my business and spiritual life
He was known for saying this:
“Discipline your disappointments”
I LOVE that quote so much
It teaches us expectations and to manage our emotions all in one
Life doesn’t always happen the way we think it “should”
And guess what?
That’s ok.
All we can do is develop the discipline and shift our expectations to a clean slate for the next day
I added to this quote to make it my own because the last part really speaks to me
“Discipline your disappointments and NEVER give up!”
I say never give up and what I really mean is never give up on YOU – you matter. You are here for a purpose.
And you/I can’t let our disappointments get in the way of course correcting and keeping going.
